The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra and its music director José-Luis Novo turned to AMR to create a commemorative disc for the 300th hundredth anniversary of the signing of its royal charter. The disc will feature one work from each of the centuries: A Corelli String Concerto, Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, Ravel's Rhapsodie Espagnole, and a competition-winning work commissioned for the celebration by acclaimed young composer Narong Prangcharoen. The recordings will take place in early November 2008. |

AMR has been contracted by the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra (Markand Thakar, music director) to record a disc of concertos with the internationally acclaimed violist Victoria Chiang. Sessions will take place in December 2008 and January 2009. |

The 21st season of Strings in the Mountains -- now known simply as the Strings Music Festival -- has turned to Art Music Recording to capture the many exciting chamber-music events on its Classical Series this summer. The festival is located in beautiful Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Many of the recordings will be featured on American Public Media's nationally syndicated series Performance Today.

The Ceruti String Quartet, in residence at the University of Memphis, is recording music of Brahms and Debussy with AMR, May 12-15. The sessions will take place in the Harris Concert Hall in the U of M's Scheidt School of Music. |
